A tale of two tulips

APRIL 22, 2021

With things now opening up more, both in terms of the relaxation of Covid restrictions and the effects of Spring in the garden, combined with lots of new publications being prepared for sale, we’ve noticed some similarities this week between them.

I don’t know about you but I love the anticipation of a new piece of music to play, or to publish for that matter, and nothing beats opening up that new book to see what’s contained within! Clearly performers everywhere are preparing for some more playing opportunities as sheet music sales continue to rise. We’ll be bringing you some new exciting collections very soon so keep your eyes peeled!

Out in the Moonhouse Garden, the tulips are echoing this, two (sort of) similar specimens next to each other have just started to open, albeit a bit half heartedly at the moment. But what seem obvious on outside appearance, doesn’t necessarily follow through to what is inside. What a difference! One a stunning yellow, and the other a sort of greeny-yellow melon type of scheme. It just goes to show, you never know what’s inside until it opens up.

A bit like day-to-day life too really, people will never really know you until you open up a bit, and can see your true colours. That’s all for now, from a somewhat philosophical #TeamMoonhouse.
